Tips & tricks for the 7 times table

  7 is considered the hardest times table. The best strategy is to use facts you already know: 7 × 8 = 56 (5, 6, 7, 8 — the numbers go in order!).

  7 × n = 5 × n + 2 × n. Break it into easier parts.

  Practice the tough ones: 7 × 7 = 49, 7 × 8 = 56, 7 × 9 = 63. Once you know these three, you know the whole table.
